Vimium extension for Chrome

Posted in Uncategorized by Peter Reavy on December 13, 2010

After about a week’s use, the Vimium extension for Chrome seems to meet my needs for keyboard-driven browsing better than Conkeror.

It helps if you add the following to its Excluded URLs.

http*://mail.google.com/*
http*://www.google.com/reader/*

Chrome will sync your extensions for you, but apparently not their settings.

Thanks for the tip – trying it out. I had been looking for more ways to use the keyboard within Chrome and wasn’t doing too well just with the built-in shortcuts.
